Memorial Letter The 8th of May is the date of 46th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Kingdom of Thailand and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). During this period, there were several exchange and visit between two countries. Some royal family members visited DPRK. such as the visit of Galayani Vadhana, Princess of Naradhiwa in 1987, the visit of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in 1991 and the visit of the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn in 1992and 1993 during the period of His Royal Prince And, every visit of members of Royal Family to DPRK, His Excellency, President Kim Il Sung has met them and talked with them friendly and warmly. Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, on Dec. 5 sent a message of greeting to Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, king of Thailand, on the occasion of its national day.
